my head is still a little fuzzy from lack of sleep and drama overflow these past few days, but in spite of everything we went through i feel surprisingly o.k.  it doesn’t take a lot to throw me off kilter, but my son’s recent visit to the hospital didn’t do it.

i have been working working working, immersed in bringing a creative vision of mine to fruition.  ecamp has been wildly successful and has far exceeded all of my hopes, and has my creative juices really flowing… i love it when that happens.  it tells me that i am still on the right track.  it tells [...]

* spring is starting to arrive… the birds are returning, the sea grass is thawing, we can see the sand again with only little piles of snow left.  we are spending lots of time outside even though it has not really been all that warm.

sometimes i forget i’m in the most intense stage of motherhood.  i forget, and i sometimes expect too much of myself, of my children, and of what any given day entails.
